Harsh winter, late spring Changed the tempo of everything And moved me to sing Even with no one listening But then you stepped in Now I'm... Falling in love with the impossible Irresistable to me You sweep me off my feet And beyond the animosity The velocity is dizzying 'Cause everything is happening so fast Please teach me to trust Give me courage to do what I must Entrusted with much When you made me the bearer of such A beautiful touch Keep me...

They can't take me to where I Need to go Not gonna panic if I'm Only going slowly I'm taking my, taking my time Like you told me It's not easy to be a pioneer It ain't gonna happen if I Emphasise my fears I'm making my, making my way To the good years What exactly would I be proving? Get on the wrong bus Just to feel like I'm moving What in the world would I be thinking? To get back on that ship In the instant it's sinking So what will I do while I'm healing? Got to admit, it's a perculiar feeling Won't worry my head over nothing, 'cause I'm on to a good thing I'm on to a good thing

Leave 01:49
When the quiet public places are more peaceful than the private spaces What do you do? Where do you go? When you go to work to find some rest and it's going home that takes your best What do you do? Hope do you cope? It's only just a taste of the sickness laying waste to others every aching day But that doesn't make the problem go away If you only had the wherewithall to leave the house and make that phone call Where would it lead? What happens then? If you have to face another day dreading life exactly in this way What will you do? Where will it end? You try to reconcile, but those tired old excuses won't make sense after a while He took away your right to raise a smile It's your right to raise a smile It's your right to breathe in deeply It's your right to live in peace And dream when you are sleeping It's your right to save your heart It's your right to shield your body It's alright to change your mind And leave it all behind

Good People 01:50
All you good people around me Surround me with something To hope for All you good people around me Surround me, abounding in love I'm in need of it Can't conceive of a world quite this hard So relentlessly, endlessly dark When you're mending the bend in my heart Nothing offends me All you good people beside me Provide me with Guidance and wisdom All you good people remind me There's light at the end of it all I believe in it Can't conceive a more beautiful end Than to call everyone of us friend With the singular signal We're sending
5.
There was something about you That annoyed me from the get-go Now I am paying the price For keeping you around The was something in your demeanor That unnerved me from the outset And now I'm regretting Ever letting you inside Ever letting you inside My kindness can't extend to compromise So please respect my choice to sever ties I'm trying to be wise about this I've plenty of tries to get this right There's a habit I adopted When surrounded by aggressors I attempted to make a friend of he Who sought to bring me down A defensive mechanism That was met with mixed reception Repercussions that result From keeping enemies on side Keeping enemies on side Respect the sacred spaces of people you call friends If you can't understand then this is where discussion ends You blew too many chances for us to make amends It won't be me who bends This is my heart to defend
6.
The Sparkle 01:52
Your romanticised ideas make me giggle a little You imagine my career with such grandeur and glitter Ruminating with your peers while I sit in the middle And listen Ah, How do I explain this strange infatuation With the sparkle That plays upon the water The picture on the cover Isn't all the novel has to offer I obey the laws of physics so I visit the limits You can read it in my lyrics 'cause I'm pretty prolific You misimagine the idyllic But I posit that isn't implicit Ah, Maybe I'm a stranger making your acquaintance If the author is never quite the person That maybe you imagined Is is harder to look beneath the sparkle?
7.
Void Staring 02:14
You can peer into the darkest part Of humanity's hideous heart To the brimming of the inky void As injustice and chaos destroy you Face not the faceless enemy This is not your story Look to the light love's labours leave His unchanging glory You can at to the calamity To the viciously clamouring noise Or you can choose to be something else To be hopeful, a heavenly voice Live not to cure the planet's pain It's too great a burden Seek first the kingdom, call his name Keep your watch and pray
8.
Idealist 02:33
Maybe I'm idealistic Thinking that we could change our minds And work together Maybe it's foolish wishing Maybe my mind's gone fishing But it's my only vision now Everyone wants the world to change But what if it means they have to change their act And that's the catch Oh Don't you wanna see the world shine? Oh If you don't have the courage, take mine Don't you wait for a sign Now is the time to try anything You should have seen their faces When I said hopeless cases Housed the greatest glory I know from trusted sources That there are no lost causes Case Study One, of course, is me Everyone wants the world to change But what if it means we have to change ourselves Engage ourselves? Oh Don't you wanna see the world shine? Oh If you don't have the courage, take mine Don't you wait for a sign Now is the time to try anything Try anything C'mon, c'mon
9.
I'm your suburban explorer You know I'll take the inititive Devising doorstep adventures Mix modern life with the primitive To fall in love with the textures The bleak industrial images C'mon lets synchronise watches 'Cause I'm your digital immigrant Don't need no phones where we're going With new discoveries imminent Don't think you get the idea Abandon all social media Reconnecting, getting rid Of attitudes that leave you timid Disconnect, get off the grid Preset filters are insipid Exercise, a small incentive To be daring and inventive Try a new thing, be creative Use innate and dormant skill set Reconnecting, getting rid Of attitudes that leave you timid Disconnect, get off the grid Preset filters are insipid
